Why we built avtr.tr

We noticed that lawyers were calculating things like attorney fees, enforcement/filing fees, severance/notice compensation and simple statutory interest by hand or in scattered spreadsheets — a time-consuming process with a high margin for error. We built avtr.tr both to solve this need and to help the thousands of lawyers facing the same problem.

What is avtr.tr

A platform that brings together 25+ free tools for lawyers and law firms under one roof, with no registration required: calculation tools, document preparation tools and converters for UYAP's UDF format.

What it offers

• Calculation tools — labor receivables (severance, notice, overtime), gross-net conversion, simple and tiered statutory interest, attorney fees (per the official tariff), mediation fees, enforcement and filing fees, freelance receipt calculation, sentence (time served) calculation and more — all based on official tariffs and statutory texts, with source PDFs archived and downloadable on the site.
• Document preparation — employee release forms, lease agreements: fill out the form and download as Word or PDF.
• UDF tools — viewing/editing UYAP UDF documents, UDF↔DOCX and UDF→PDF conversion.
• TIFF/PDF tools — TIFF split/merge, PDF split/merge/compress, image↔PDF/TIFF conversion.
• Privacy-first — most of the document and file tools run entirely in your browser; your file is never uploaded to a server. This is a deliberate choice for tools that handle personal data (e.g. release forms).

How we built it: technical architecture

Built with Next.js and TypeScript; the calculation logic is designed as pure functions from a single source, serving both the web API and a future mobile app. Most of the UDF/TIFF/PDF tools run in the browser using pdf.js — the file never goes to a server, which improves both speed and privacy. This site's (anatolianorganics.com.tr) technical foundation was also adapted from this project.
